Amy is driven to capture compelling, thought provoking and evocative images & video, but she also has a keen eye to make beautiful images of nature and people.

 

Since 2007, Amy has been a staff photographer at The Blade in Toledo. She has garnered many awards for her visual storytelling and excellence in journalism from the Ohio Associated Press and Ohio News Photographers Association. She most recently was awarded the Society of Professional Journalism's Best Investigative Reporting as part of a three person team.

 

Before joining The Blade, Amy got her master's degree at The Missouri School of Journalism and was a photojournalist at The Birmingham Post-Herald in Alabama.

 

When Amy is not behind a camera you will find her traveling, reading, or laughing with family and friends.
